Of coursr I ignored all this stuff when I didn't need it, but now...

I want/need a second serial port for my 2000.  The local dealer
quoted ~$350 for the commodore 2 port board.  I figure for that much
I might as well spend a little more and get a whole extra computer
(with serial port included!).

How are the aftermarket options priced (ASDG, others?), and is there
anything special about the commodore board that makes it so expensive?
