Yeah, it was a RTFM problem (:-[! I "popped the hood' so many times putting in the first lot (256k pups) that I didn't even think to look at the manual that morning... Anyway, w/out setting the 256K/1M jumper, the 3000 still boots & loads WB fine, it just recognizes the chips as 256kx4's. As an aside. Check the nums on your DIPS. My fast mem DIPS were 80ns SC - a bit of overkill for a 2nd MB of chip mem. PS anyone interested in 80 ns ZIPS (or DIPS) ??/ -- ADMS - not a dbms you're likely to run into every day (Unless of course you want process time on one of *OUR* machines...)
