Dunno about reading AmigaDOS disks on a SPARC, but Emmet Gray's "mtools"
version 2 with patch 2 reads/writes/formats/{creates sub-dirs, cd's, etc}
just fine with ANY MS-DOS format 3-1/2" and 5-1/4" floppy on just about any
UNIX box imaginable; even I was amazed (as I posted to another newsgroup
recently).

The "mtools" was recently posted to the net, but his "home" system with
anon ftp access to the sources is cerl.cecer.army.mil (IP 129.229.1.101)
