Their service has been rotten. We've had to wait several weeks for DQC cables to arrive. We broke one and couldn't use one of our workstations for that time. But our recent fiasco takes the cake. We placed an order for 3 port serial connectors on 10/25/90. We were told that we could expect delivery within a few days (INSTANT Apollo, right?). A week after that deadline passed I called back and found out that they were on back order and would be in on 11/19/90. They have no means of informing customers of this. Today I called them (11/26/90) and they said it would be another week (yea, right!). I suggest going ANYWHERE else if you really need networking hardware quickly. I used to be very impressed with instant Apollo but since the HP takeover they still haven't got their parts situation straightened out. I would suggest trying Halmark Electronics in Earth City, MO. (800) 325-1021. I've gotten real good sales support from them in the past. I realize that back orders do happen but at least they could have been more up front about it when the order was placed or at least notify us. -- --=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-- Bryan Province Glenayre Corp. quintro!bep@lll-winken.llnl.gov Quincy, IL "I've fallen, and I can't get up!" - Buster Douglas
