Thank you all very much for mailing me such a many responses to my request on information about C-compilers. Most of you recommended using Sozobon-C with a few hundred kB ramdisk. Another favourite seemed to be Mark Johnson C (MJC). Someone did also mention commercial compilers Alcyon C and Turbo C. I have now downloaded both Sozobon-C and MJC, but haven't have time to do any comparisons between them. Once again - Many Thanks for You All!
