It wouldn't make much sense to spend an equivalent amount of money on a system that doesn't have an operating system... or a useful one, i should say. What's a computer without an OS? It's not much different than a car without an engine. There are several software packages on other platforms that i was hoping would get ported to the ST. Virtually every developer of these particular packages that i have spoken with tells me they don't want to have to "deal with TOS"... -kevin
