Subject: VR160 monitor problem

I have a VAXstation 3100 with a VR160 colour monitor. I'm running 
Ultrix 4.0 (UWS 4.0). My problem is that down the lefthand side of
the screen I get a black strip about 4-5 mm wide. Anyone got any
ideas, hints, solutions?. Dec here don't.
