To remove the menu line, either go into PICT or display the following
menu:  { GROB 21 8 ... GROB 21 8 ... x 6 }.  In other words, create
6 blank 21 x 8 GROBs and use TMENU to display that menu.

There's no way in user-language to just turn off the menu display.
