Can any net.hp48.wizards out there help an mcode beginner?

My questions (for now :-):

Where is information about rpl stuff?  (I've seen comments about saving
rpl regs, and adjusting them to pop stuff off the stack, etc, so I'd like
learn the details...)

What is the easiest way to get a number off the stack into a register to use?
I don't care if it's a real, binary int, or a short int.
