I have a glossy about a board from CompuCom. "SpeedModem Combo (tm)" ... "World-Class 9,6000 bps DIS-Modem(tm) and Fax, all at a breakthrough price - $279." DIS compression gives about a 4:1 ration (MNP about 2:1), they say. Anyway, it looks pretty good on paper, but I'd like any opinions anyone can give me about this board, how well it does on FAX (and on managing received images), how good their support for their products is, are they close to bankruptcy, etc. Thanks a lot ...
