I have a question concerning my Pioneer ADVANTAGE-386SX mother board. The program that comes with this beast (setsx.exe) allows the user to alter the cpu clock, and shadow ram options, it does not however allow one to alter the bus or dma speeds. From what I have seen of other mother boards with ami bios (boards that have the added feature of ext setup) the latter of these two options are indeed configurable. All TFM has to say on the matter is that "this program doesn't allow these speeds to be changed for reasons of maximum compatibility." Do any of ya'll know of a handy little util (perhaps one that came with YOUR sx) that WOULD allow me to alter these (for example change the bus clock from atclock to sclck/2). If you have ANY insight to my problem please email me (as I am not a regular to this group) and I'll be sure to post a summary if there is any interest. -Thanks in Advance -Dave ________________________________________________________________________________ r--_____ r---__ r--_____ |"The weather is here, | \ |_____) | \ | I wish you were beautiful."
