I'm interested in buying a 386SX. I found a mail-order outfit in CA called AROMA Computer Systems (Santa Clara) that quoted me the following: Motherboard -- ECS with the C&T Chip set, AMI BIOS, 16MHz 386SX Disk -- 40MB (28 ms access, 12.5 Mbits transfer rate) Floppy -- 1.2 MB, 1.44 MB Modem -- 2400 Internal Monitor -- Color VGA (256K card) Printer -- Panasonic 1124 All this for $1661. Without printer it's $1382. They offer a 1 yr parts/labor warranty, plus 15-day return for East Coasters like myself. My questions are: 1. Is the company reliable? 2. Has anyone purchased any thing from them? What are your experiences? 3. Is the price quoted reasonable? 4. Are the parts quoted "good" enough? Should I ask for a "better" motherboard even if it costs more? 5. Are there any other questions I should be asking? Please EMAIL your responses to me at " .... !att!attunix!stl". Thanks for your help. Saify Lanewala .. att!attunix!stl (201) 522-5464
