Hi,
I am trying to help someone back up their hard disk, they have tried
both PC Tools backup and Fastback plus; both complain about the DMA
hardware.  I really don't know what to do for him.

Does there exist either backup software that uses more standard disk
I/O so that the hardware is irrelevant or backup softwarew that can
be made to act this way?  Possibly the newest versions of PCT or FB+.
