Is there a utility out there (free or otherwise) which would enable a
user (or batch file, etc.) to load/unload device drivers placed in memory
by config.sys as necessary given the applications being run?  This would be
on a machine running straight DOS, no Desqview, Windows, or other such 
"multi-tasker".  Reply via e-mail, please.

If this is the wrong newsgroup, flames pointing me to the right one(s) will
