We've got AOS over Mach (don't ask :-), with what appears to be
X11R2.  I've gotten X11R4 to compile (and X11R4 clients to run on other
servers), but when I try to crank up a server on the RT console, I
get an error it couldn't set the font path to "string", where string
is the valid (stock, even) font path for X.

Any pointers/clues/hints/rude remarks?
