I presently have all 4 SIMM banks filled with 120 nsec. 256Kx9 SIMMs for a total of 1 MB. I would like to put 4 MB of 1MBx9 SIMMs in instead, at the sacrifice of discarding the memory already there. Since I don't want to pay IBM's huge prices (for their 2MB "kits"), I would like to know if I can use ordinary 3rd-party SIMMs. Any help is appreciated. -FQH.
