It is almost certainly not a misprint and equally certainly not a
legitimate price. This type of deceptive price advertising is very
common by certain mail order camera stores, one of which is called Tri-State.
Coincident? Not likely.

BTW Toshiba just drop the prices of their portables. Locally I've seen
$100 drop in 1000SE and XE prices already.
