Information Services. Lines: 17 Has anyone had experience running remote, dial-in AppleTalk access using high-speed modems and something like Liason? How much of the bis compression speedup works with AppleTalk? Some of the new modems claim 4X 9600 baud throughput. I assume on clean lines with ASCII transfers that works fine. How much of this compression gains you anything with AppleTalk packets? Inquiring minds want to know, Thanks, Joel Ness INTERNET: jness@ub.d.umn.edu Information Services BITNET: JNESS@UMNDUL University of Minnesota, Duluth Phone: (218) 726-8841 Duluth, MN 55812
