I want to do reaction time experiments with the Mac. The standard for these experiments is millisecond timing. The Apple Desk Top bus only communicates with the keyboard at 60 hz (16.67ms). However, the serial port can run at very, very fast rates. Hence I'd like to use the serial port as an input device to get accurate reaction times. If you have any ideas on how to accomplish this please let me know.
