For those who are interested in this, there's a company that has been selling an Appletalk-FM link for at least a year. It operates up to 4 miles LOS and costs 4k for a "base station" and 1k for a "outlying station". It provided full appletalk speed. Just the thing for linking remote sites! Sorry i can't remember who the are, but they're somewhere in Ontario. If there's interest, I could scour my office...
