One person gave me a reading list for ideas that was very thick). I need a video baord to control a 19" color monitor for a Mac II with an fx logic board upgrade. I also need suggestions for a 19" monitor. Both NuVista and SuperMac have been mentioned as possibilities, but no-one around here seems to know exactly what their benefits are. The cards should be easy to control from a program (specifically any color tables). I'll need to have very precise control over the color environment, so some ability to directly alter the boards look-up tables would be nice. Also, I need a fast refresh rate. I'm told that the best you can get on a Mac is 66.7 Hz which I can live with, but anything slower is out. (I have to be able to change the display during an eye movement). Monitors: I've heard Trinitron mentioned (I think), but I know absolutely nothing about it. What are some good 19" monitors? Do they make any with quickly degrading phosphors? Any help would be appreciated. I need these things soon!!! If you don't think there is sufficient interest on this group, then e-mail me at: duga@cvs.rochester.edu Thanks in advance, --Brady
