I posted a request a few days ago for information about portable hard
drives. After scanning ads, I narrowed the choice down to 1 model (both
light and low-cost): IDS Pro series 40M from Dr Mac.

Next question: has someone actually used one? At $442, the price seems
good compared with the other light-weights.

Has anyone out there got comments on dealing with Dr Mac? (The person
who is going to buy it is in England, so reliability of the retailer is
a big issue).
