Subject: Choice of good value hard disk

I am trying to decide on a hard disk for my mac plus. So far I have 
broke it down to protege by MacAvenue and Ehman. They both seem very good.
I would like some opinions about these two drives or other like LaCie.
My major concern is cost and reliability. Please mail any info which
will be appreciated.
