A letter went unanswered >I am therefore asking whether any body has any knowledge of either the >person(s) who wrote the software or the latest version (the one I have is >Version 1.0.3) or where (in the US) I can get a later version. I have managed to glean off those who have so kindly sent me information that there are later versions of the C Compiler and that it is probable that Sesame is still operating from the given address. I have not managed to ascertain the standard of the latest release or which version is actually the latest. For those who wrote asking for a copy and/or where they could get hold of a copy I can only say that I got it from Lancaster University's Public Domain Archive (UK). I believe that you can only access this site by JANET. This archive runs a mail server service accessible as archive-server@uk.ac.lancs.pdsoft. However the copy here is not (as far as I can tell) the latest version of this software and I am afraid that I do not know where its primary distribution site is. Peter.
