Lappa) Organization: Univ. of Pittsburgh, Comp & Info Sys Lines: 20 We have a Mac II with a Rodime 140 meg drive running 6.04 system software. Over the past weekend, the mac kept crashing while I tried to print over to a laserwriter, plus at various times during the day while in MS word. Today I rebuilt the system because I decided to elimate the inits that I had and start over with fresh system software. Well ( you knew this was coming right?) when I rebooted the Mac after building the system, it shows a smiley face and comes up the "Welcome to Machine" box and that box starts flashing and the boot quits!!! Help...how do I fix this!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Thanks!! Joe -- * Joseph Lappa : University of Pittsburgh * : Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center * Internet : jclst1@unix.cis.pitt.edu * : lappa@b.psc.edu
