I ran 6.05 from when it came out until 6.07 came out and have been running System 6.07 since then. I have never had a problem with keys repeating as you have described (never had any problems). Do you use the macro software that came with it? I do not. If you do, try taking it out of your System Folder and see if that is what is causing the problem. This keyboard even worked under System 7.0b1.
