HELP! Message-ID: <5044@spdcc.SPDCC.COM> Date: 27 Nov 90 23:53:00 GMT Reply-To: cspencer@ursa-major.spdcc.com (Cliff Spencer) Organization: S.P. Dyer Computer Consulting, Cambridge MA Lines: 12 My Mac has "lost" a few top level folders. These folders are apparently present but invisible, since the disk space has not been freed and one of the missing folders is the system folder of a bootable disk. Disinfectant 2.3 indicates no viruses and I have rebuilt the desktop. Occasionally one of the folders appears spuriously but is either inaccessible from finder, or crashes the system when I access it. Is this desktop corruption or the HFS itself? How do I restore order? Config is system 6.0.5 finder 6.1.5. Thanks, -cliff -- Cliff Spencer cspencer@spdcc.com
