It is very fast. compiles of PowerStep go 2 to 3 times faster, the product (which was fairly snappy anyhow) really screams on the '040. For that matter, everything does. Even (GASP!) FrameMaker! Yes, the ultimate FrameMaker upgrade is an '040!
