It takes either analog signals or direct digital (AES/EBU) from cd players, DAT, etc... It also kicks out analog and digital audio. It comes with a program that allows recording, playback, and waveform editing. It also supports the NeXT MonsterScope Oscilloscope and Spectrum Analyzer. BUT, this little black box costs $1295... probably not in your price range. Since I'm also interested in this (I just ordered a NeXT and I have a Sony CD player with digital out) I'd like to find out if anyone else has tried to do this. Does the DSP chip have a high speed serial input port and could it decode the data stream? > -- > Martin Farach mpf@cs.umd.edu > University of Maryland > Department of Computer Science > College Park, Maryland 20742 -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | David Lacey | Try the ISCA BBS and Archives | | President, Iowa Student Computer Assn | Telnet/FTP: isca.icaen.uiowa.edu | | The University of Iowa | telnet/rlogin in as iscabbs | | isca@icaen.uiowa.edu | 1.3 GIG of disk space and growing| -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
