We are installing Metafont and have found that we cannot define
X window version 11 as the window support without its
Development Option ($$); the Execution Environment does not provide
the necessary libraries/headers.

Does anyone have Tektronix 4014 or HP 2627 emulators, either
of which can be used by Metafont?  We would also appreciate
any installation hints from survivors of this process.
