It's what we call around here a "forklift" upgrade. In other words, you send them your old machine PLUS MANY $$, and then they send you a 4D. The upgrade was a joke as far as we were concerned. Basically, they were allowing a ~$8k on the old machine and we couldn't upgrade to a Personal, it had to be a higher end machine. The 3000's are completely incompatable with the 4D's so you can't just do some board swapping. Sorry about the bad news. Hope this helps. -- Brent L.
