At the end of Chapter 8 of the Sun manual "Sunview1 Systems Programmer's
Guide", the following statement appears:

|"One could imagine extending the Notifier to provide a record and replay
|mechanism that would drive an application.  However, this is not supported
|by the current interface."

Does this mean that such a mechanism is not possible in the current
Sunview implementation or simply that Sun has not provided it?

If it is possible, has anyone done it?  Is there any down-loadable code
available?
