Everything apparantly seems to be okay, but every so often, the owner of /var/spool/mail/xxxx (where 'xxxx' stands for some username) becomes "nobody". Files /usr/lib/sendmail and /bin/mail are setuid'd, as installed by the installation script.I do not know what the problem is; it appears to work for internet mail though. It is the local mail delivery (by /bin/mail) that is causing all the problems. Any clue? Thanks in advance for your reply.
