But the new Common Tex 3.0 which uses fully dynamic memory allocation (no longer problems with fixed size tables and several executables!) does not support format files yet. Too bad. What I have done, and you can do it yourself easily, is to snarf unexec.c from the GNU Emacs distribution and put it in the place of the suicide code and the undump command. The relevant mods for Common Tex 3.0 BETA I have already sent to Pat Monardo.
