I am trying to set up a backend network between them to handle NIS and NFS traffic. When I attempt to configure the tr0 interface on either one, however, I get the following message: ifconfig: error calling entry point for /etc/network/if_tr:Connection timed out or ifconfig: error calling entry point for /etc/network/if_tr:I/O error I am not at all experienced with token ring, so, no, I am not sure the physical network is set up correctly. I have the interfaces plugged into ports 1 and 2 of and MAU and thats it. Any clues would be much appreciated. -Scott
