Message-ID: <4556@umbc3.UMBC.EDU> Date: 28 Nov 90 23:59:56 GMT Reply-To: dipto@umbc3.umbc.edu (Dipto Chakravarty) Organization: University of Maryland, Baltimore County Lines: 23 I wish to build a bootable floppy for PS/2 AIX 1.2. I would prefer to build this manually so that I can place useful utilities on it, such as dd, tar, ed, etc., etc. What is the procedure? I am painfully aware of the fact that we may require a dual-floppy system and/or multiple 3.5" boot diskettes. I don't want to deal with kernel slicing using dd, if possible! :-( Also, I would like to know the same procedure for System/6000 AIX3, if it exists. Please email me your comments.
