i have qconfig setup as per manual on a ps/2
and /etc/hosts.lpd on an RS/6000 540 server set up right
- the RS/6000 is also the NIS server for the PS/2

print -argname foo

sends the file to the server, it then appears in the queue for the
printer on the RS...but with the user field saying
-l=foo

this leads me to suspect a difference in lpd protocol
twixt AIX 1.? and AIX3.?

it eventually disappears from the print queue (with no discernable
error message) but fails to actually print!


ANY HELP PLEASE?
