After I have rebooted the RS/6000 (quite often these dayes :-()
and I try to start temacs (I don't manage to get xemacs built) I
get this error message:

   header mismatch in `/local/gnu/emacs-18.56/etc/EMACS-DATA'

and have to rebuilt temacs in order use it.
Is there a way to go around this problem? 

(I build emacs by using the 18.56 beta release.)
