  This note should be followed by 6 parts containing the 2.1.5 28 NOV 1990
version of the infamous jargon file. To re-assemble it, simply trim the
headers from the parts and cat them together.

  This version is a draft for a contemplated second paper edition of "The
Hacker's Dictionary" circulated to the hacker community for criticism and
