If you do not care to read it please forgive me and press n now. Thanks for sticking with me! My question/problem is this: I own a Pioneer VANTAGE-386SX 20MHz mother board. The utility that comes with it to set various cmos options (setsx.exe) doesn't allow me to alter the dma speed or the bus speed. I know that other machines with AMI bios can do this, but all TFM has to say is "cannont be done with this software, for reasons of maximum compatibility" So does anyone out there know 1) Will I hose my system by adjusting these (the few measly boards I have installed I have tested at higher bus speeds) values, 2) CAN I adjust these values?? 3) OK, assuming 1 and 2, how do I adjust these values? Thanks in Advance Dave ________________________________________________________________________________ r--_____ r---__ r--_____ |"The weather is here, | \ |_____) | \ | I wish you were beautiful."
