Yes. Just plug the tape drive into the system, configure the HPDD and voila you have a tape drive. You might have to create entries for the tape devices but this is well documented in the Maintenance Procedures manual (section 7.1.7.2). As a second note, I have used several tape drives that are not in the list with no problems (just configured them as a generic scsi tape drive). -- Conor P.
