UBC Is there any software for the Macintosh that will allow one to use software that needs x-windows. We have a VAXstation 3200 running VMS5.3 and are using UIS (VWS-VAX Workstation Software) for the screen drivers. However, we are looking at using PV-WAVE on the VAXstation, and since PV-WAVE needs Windows, I am wondering if it is possible to run Windows on the Mac (we are connected to the VAX by both DECnet and TCP/IP) and see the PV-WAVE output on the Mac (taking advantage of the Mac's color capability ?). Is it necessary to run DECwindows on the VAX too ? I am absolutely new to Windows and would appreciate any pointers on this problem.
