I was completely new to this as of a month ago, and I have gotten to the point that I can get a window up and going, but I still cannot seem to understand how to change colormaps from the default. What I am trying to do is put together a sort of frame into which I can insert graphics routines. I have done this, but I only can access the 16 colors in the default colormap. If anyone has a program that I could easily rip apart down to the bare minimum, or if anyone has doen the same thing (as I am sure nearly all of you have) could you please send me Email the address of an anonymous ftp possibility, or just mail me the program if you have one. I would greatly appreciate it. Also can anyone tell me what they think is the best documentation for Xlib programming?
