When the PEX protocol is finally hammered out, is
the PEX standards committee going to provide a standard
API that will work with any visual on a PEX station?

I mean a FULLY implemented API, not just the names of
the routines that are going to be there.

The various PEX api's I have tested to date all seem to
assume some stupid visual exists.
