Keywords: Theatre, opera, binoculars, advice Message-ID: <11833@spool.cs.wisc.edu> Date: 28 Nov 90 22:32:14 GMT Sender: news@spool.cs.wisc.edu Organization: U of Wisconsin CS Dept Lines: 23 Hello Netland; After having recently attending the musical HAIR, in Milwaukee WI. I was reminded how frustrating it is to be so far back that you cant see any but gross facial expressions. Well, Christmas is coming and I had not a clue what to get for my wife. Hey presto why not opera glasses or suitable binoculars for all those performances we attend but get stuck in the back forty. So I was hoping for advice from these newsgroups about binoculars or opera glasses that were good for both theatre, other sporting events as well as birdwatching. I dont mind spending good money on good products. At the outset however I doubt I would be willing to spring for expensive Leitz binocs. Any recommendations? I will summarize results to netland.
