If cyanide gave a great >high it would still be REAL unpopular. It is interesting that you should mention this. Strychnine, AKA rat poison, is quite a powerful hallucinogenic and stimulant. It shares with cyanide some undesirable properties, namely, they both make one die an agonizing death. Cyanide is admittedly the more agonizing, but neither is my idea of a great time. Because of its effects on the central nervous system, however, strychnine is in small doses quite a common adulterant in street drugs. The trick is to keep the amount at the level that the cost benefits outweigh the potential of lost revenue from the addicts that one happens to murder. Followups to alt.drugs. -EMP
