Message-ID: <1990Nov29.101049.9660@warwick.ac.uk> Date: 29 Nov 90 10:10:49 GMT Sender: news@warwick.ac.uk (Network news) Organization: Computing Services, Warwick University, UK Lines: 17 I just got, free, an old WP with a hard drive inside of it. The drive is labelled: Seagate ST-412 It looks like it is a 5.25" size. Does anyone have any info on this drive, capacity, heads, type - MFM/RLL/etc. The only close match I can find on sale is a 1.2GB ST-41200N : this is an _old_ WP, not the same drive methinks! I am trying to interface this to a PC. Thanks in advance. ***************************************************************************** * Stuart Millington * "A Mind Is A Terrible Thing, Remember * * UUCP:...!mcsun!ukc!warwick!phupp * That." - David Bryan, Bon Jovi * * JANET:phupp@uk.ac.warwick.cu ***************************************** * ? :phupp%warwick.ac.uk@nsfnet-relay.ac.uk * *****************************************************************************
