German authorities begin the establishment of a Jewish ghetto in Warsaw, claiming it as a necessary public health measure. In Norway, numerous landslides occur simultaneously, blocking many roads and railways. The timing of the slides indicates an organized effort by Norwegian resistance, and German military police stage searches and make several arrests.
