Does anyone know if this is true? I find it hard to believe that the US would commit such a large percentage of it's tanks to a venture knowing that they would never get them back even if the war was not fought. This is real third+ hand knowledge. I'd appreciate opinions of anyone out there that is in the know about modern tanks and their care and feeding. Greg
