The low duplication cost of CD-ROMs is precisely why SUN is moving
their software distribution to CD-ROM.  The 1/4" tapes cost a
bloody fortune, by comparison (orders of magnitude more when you
include duplication, handling, and shipping costs).  I suspect that
a machine with a non-optional CD-ROM drive isn't that far off....
